Remote monitoring (telemetry)

If you have Kopirkin machine installed in remote location, or your network consists of several machines - we recommend ordering a remote monitoring (GSM) modules.

As everything else in Kopirkin, the module is simple and robust. Setting it up is very easy - just plug a SIM card of any GSM network into the module.

The module sends SMS messages containing usage statistics and alerts to your mobile phone, or to our Monitoring Centre.

There are 3 types of SMS messages:

  1. Error notifications.
  2. Low supplies (paper, toner or drum) warnings.
  3. Report, containing statistics and machine status. The report is sent periodically, or in reply to SMS request from operator.

Currently, Kopirkin can notify operator about following errors:

  • Paper jam.
  • Running out of paper.
  • Running out of toner.
  • Drum resource depletion.
  • Bill acceptor fault.

Machine status report contains the following information:

  • Amount of money accepted since last collection.
  • Number of banknotes in banknote acceptor.
  • Amount of change in changegiver.
  • Number of copies made since last paper refill, since last toner cartridge replacement and since last drum replacement.
  • Total number of copies made by the machine, and total amount of money accepted.
